I upgraded my original Droid to the Razr yesterday, and since I got the phone have not once been able to connect to the 3G data network. The store itself has bad reception, so I figured it would get better after I left. I've called Verizon tech support and obviously they can't do anything unless I'm calling from a different phone. Seeing as how I attend school 1.5 hours from home and only own 1 phone, I'm screwed there until I get someone else to let me call with their phone. I also can't go back to the store until the end of the month because I'm going to be even further from home this coming weekend. I've tried messing with the data delivery settings, I've taken the battery out, I've updated roaming, I've even done a factory reset on the d*** thing and I am at a loss. The tech support guy suggested that if my old Droid is still on that could somehow be causing it to block 3G on this phone, and while I don't buy it, it is my last chance. I use my GPS and email for school/work and desperately need this fixed. Has anyone else had this problem, or is Murphy's Law still following me and my phones tirelessly? (Not even kidding, I've never had good luck with a single cell phone.) My sanity would really appreciate some advice here. Thanks so much!
